Our property in Jharipani, with its wooden cottages, green tin roofs, bougainvillea covered walls, hanging prayer flags and open valley views, became the world of the cafe. If you look closely at the frames in the series, you will recognise our staircases, our terraces, our garden pathways and the mountain line that our guests wake up to every morning. Filming took place here in November 2025, when the winter line over the Doon valley is at its most beautiful, and that golden evening light you see in the series is exactly what the location looks like in real life.

What The Shoot Looked Like Behind The Scenes

Hosting a full Netflix production was a memorable experience for our team. For several days, Jharipani Castle turned into a working film set. Clapboards, scripts and camera equipment took over our tables. Scenes were shot in the gardens, on the terraces, in our rooms with the glass mountain views and around the specially dressed cafe area. Night shoots happened under our fairy lights and star filled Jharipani sky.

What made us proudest was hearing from the crew how comfortable the property was to shoot in.
